Synergy
Synergy is an interaction or cooperation giving rise to a whole more significant than the simple sum of its parts. The term synergy comes from the Attic Greek word συνεργία synergia from synergos, συνεργός, meaning “working together.”
In our case, most of the tasks are delivered remotely. It could include the project’s design, development, testing, and all managerial activities.
Part of our team is far abroad and could not attend our brick-and-mortar offices or our clients’ premises.
In most cases, this way of delivery works excellently, but sometimes to meet and test products together in one physical place is so beneficial that we can’t resist.
In the attached photos, our team is conducting an integration testing session in our offices in Modiin-Maccabim-Reut. It became not only a working event but fun socializing too.
The synergy between the frontend and backend (embedded) developers and the PM in the same room gave us the certainty of the correct outcome and resulted in a working product that we are all definite in its quality.
So, not every time, but we love to meet and do things with synergy and fun when possible.
What do you think about these meetings in offices or clients’ premises if you work remotely?
